Join the dynamic Sharp team as one of our Brand Marketing Intern. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for college students to immerse themselves in the thrilling realm of consumer brand marketing. As an intern, you'll report to the Associate Brand Marketing Manager and collaborate with our marketing team, designers, developers, content creators, and PR professionals on diverse corporate projects. We're on the lookout for individuals who are hands-on, inquisitive about our business, and passionate about visual communication. Responsibilities

Social Media and Content Management

• Collaborate with team members to ensure the monthly social content calendar reflects a cohesive and strategic narrative.

• Demonstrate proficiency in researching social media strategies and how brands utilize various platforms.

• Manage the execution of social media activities and create assets for platforms such as IG Reels, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.

• Monitor social media channels to maintain a positive overall brand image.

• Assist in the end-to-end process of developing and executing email marketing campaigns for product news, sales, promotions, and events.

• Experience in paid social media advertising is a plus, though not required.

Digital Marketing and Copywriting

• Demonstrated experience in writing engaging blog content for various audiences.

• Develop engaging and relevant blog content tailored to target audiences, seamlessly integrating SEO best practices.

• Write, produce, and create compelling content for social channels, blogs, and internal communications initiatives.

Public Relations and Marketing Support

• Maintain records of successful PR placements in digital and print via Cision.

• Assist with Public Relations efforts.

• Execute marketing ad hoc tasks with adaptability and efficiency to meet evolving needs.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a soon-to-be Junior or Senior in a 4-year degree program, preferably with a focus on business or communications.

• Robust proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

• Experience in writing is preferred.

• Knowledge of WordPress or Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) is a plus.

• Strong interpersonal skills along with outstanding written and oral communication skills

SHCA is the U.S. Consumer Products Group of SHARP Electronics Corporation, the U.S. subsidiary of SHARP Corporation. SHCA includes the manufacturing of premium home appliances in Memphis, TN together with the sales & marketing and servicing of home electronics in the United States. Leading products include SHARP Carousel® Microwave Ovens, Microwave Drawer, SuperSteam+ Ovens, and Plasmacluster® Ion Air Purifiers.

Compensation : The hourly rate is $17/hr.

Duration : The internship program spans approximately 10 weeks, running from June 3rd to August 9th, 2024.

Work Arrangement : This is a hybrid position, requiring interns to be in the office in Montvale, NJ, four days a week (Monday to Thursday), with Fridays designated for remote work at the manager's discretion.

Transportation : Since the office location in Montvale, NJ, is not accessible by public transportation, interns must have reliable transportation.

Housing : We do not provide housing or a housing stipend for interns.

Work Visa : Unfortunately, we do not offer work visa sponsorship for this role, including participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.
