Job Description:

The Operations Manager will be overseeing the day-to-day operational activities across all departments: Housekeeping, Breakfast, Maintenance and Front Desk. This individual will be responsible for maintaining high standards of service and efficiency across all departments. Preferred candidates will have prior experience with Marriott, demonstrating a deep understanding of their operational standards. Conversational Spanish proficiency is essential for effective communication with our diverse team and guests.



Key Responsibilities:


 

  • Team Leadership
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise operational staff to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance performance and foster a positive work environment.



     Guest Experience:

 

  • Uphold Marriott standards to provide an outstanding guest experience.
  • Address and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.




 

     Operational Efficiency:

 

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and collaborate with different departments to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Implement and maintain operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.


      Quality Assurance:

 

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to Marriott's quality standards.
  • Implement corrective actions and improvements as needed.



      Communication:

 

  • Maintain effective communication channels with all departments and staff.

 

  • Act as a liaison between management and front-line employees.

 

      Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and coordinate development programs for operational staff.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

 

       Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role with a focus on Marriott standards is preferred.
  • Conversational proficiency in Spanish is required.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred. 
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, with a preference for Marriott experience.
