Job Description
Marketing Assistant — Fahrenheit Restaurants (Charlotte)
Fahrenheit is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing & Business Development team for a structured, resume-building internship in hospitality marketing. This is a hands-on role supporting campaigns, content, and events for one of Charlotte's premier dining and rooftop destinations — real projects, real deadlines, and direct exposure to how a hospitality brand markets itself.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Marketing Assistant supports the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across social media, email, and print/digital collateral. Responsibilities include drafting and scheduling social content, assisting with event promotion and graphics, tracking campaign performance, helping coordinate photo/video shoots, supporting influencer and community partnerships, and maintaining marketing calendars and asset files.
HOURS & SCHEDULE
No more than 20 hours per week during the academic year, scheduled around your class load and set collaboratively with your supervisor. Expanded hours may be available during breaks and summer term.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
This internship is structured to build skills tied to your course of study, including: developing and scheduling content across social and digital channels; applying brand standards and messaging consistently across materials; assisting with campaign planning and performance tracking; gaining experience coordinating marketing support for live events; and building foundational skills in project and asset management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled undergraduate or early-career professional in marketing, communications, public relations, advertising, graphic design, digital media, or a related field. Strong writing and organizational skills, comfort with social media platforms and basic design tools (e.g., Canva or Adobe), and ability to manage multiple projects on a deadline. Reliable transportation preferred for occasional on-site event support.
SUPERVISION & SUPPORT
The Marketing Assistant reports directly to the Marketing & Business Development team, with structured onboarding, weekly one-on-one check-ins, ongoing coaching, and formal progress reviews at the mid-point and end of each term. You'll have access to brand guidelines, content templates, scheduling tools, and mentorship from Fahrenheit leadership.
COMPENSATION
Competitive hourly pay, performance bonuses, and employee dining discounts.
