Job Description Summary

Assists with a variety of marketing, customer service, event planning and Simon Business Ventures projects alongside the Director of Marketing & Business Development.

 Principal responsibilities

  • Social Media and Website
    • Providing content and updates to social media and website platforms.
  • Sales / Business Development
    • Simon Brand Ventures – Company/Contact research. Proof of performance feedback/photos
  • Customer Service
    • Assist with inquires at front desk
  • Event Planning
    • Help organize and execute on-site events
    • Develop pre and post event recaps
  • Communications
    • Assist with merchant relations such as memos, and other digital/in-person communication between management and stores

Minimum qualifications

  • 15 - 20 hours of availability per week during the hours of 9AM – 5PM, Monday through Friday
  • Flexible schedule to work events on weekends and evenings
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Effective communication (verbal/written), organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate effective conflict resolution and customer service skills for interaction with customers, tenants, and co-workers
  • Ability to prioritize, coordinate, multi-task, and demonstrate initiative
  • Work well independently and as a team

 Preferred qualifications

  • Preference given to students currently enrolled in a college or university who can receive credit
  • Preference for study in marketing, communications, public relations, or event planning
  • Previous sales experience is a plus

Position is fall semester August - December with designated time off for school breaks and exams.
