Siemens Smart Infrastructure is looking for interns for our Electrification and Automation division in Wendell, NC to support our portfolio of protection and automation products and solutions. A variety of opportunities are available across the business supporting project design tasks, operations, product development, special projects and process improvements. On-site requirement will vary based on team placement – as will expected working hour

You’ll make an impact by:

• Create standardized work packages for production processes
• Perform various studies for local production and assembly lines
• Learn to create and dissect operator balance charts and process capacity sheets
• Support quality improvement via structured problem solving to reduce scrap / rework
• Create visual management display boards (daily metrics, project tracking)
• Support Kaizen events within production areas to enable continuous improvement
