AWS DevOps Agent GameDay Competition for CCI Majors ONLY

This fast‑paced, hands‑on cloud operations challenge hosted by the Charlotte AWS Team and sponsored by CCI and the Career Center, as part of our Technology | Data | Analytics Career Community Week, September 14-18. This event is a great opportunity to build real AWS troubleshooting skills, collaborate under pressure, and connect with industry partners.

In this immersive event, you and your assigned teammates will step into a real‑world AWS crisis scenario. The IT department has quit mid‑sprint, the runbooks are gone, and broken deploys are causing failures across computers, databases, containers, and AI systems. Your mission is to restore stability before the biggest booking night of the year begins. You’ll work alongside AWS DevOps Agent, an autonomous SRE assistant, to diagnose issues, troubleshoot services, and race against the clock. Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR) determines your score.

• 10 teams of 4 (40 total participants) – First-come; first-served with waitlist

• Designed for Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors

Prizes

• 1st Place: $100 Amazon gift card per team member


• 2nd Place: $50 Amazon gift card per team member


• 3rd Place: $25 Amazon gift card per team member
