Come explore diverse career pathways in the biological sciences at this engaging alumni panel and networking event! Hosted by faculty from the Klein College of Science, this session will feature UNC Charlotte alumni who have built careers across clinical research, forensic biology, and environmental science.
Panelists will share their unique journeys—from undergraduate experiences and research involvement to graduate education and career transitions—offering insight into how a degree in biological sciences can lead to a variety of impactful and meaningful careers.
Featured panelists include:
- A Clinical Research Associate working in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry
- A Forensic Biologist with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department
- An Environmental Specialist working in storm water services and sustainability
The panel will be moderated by Dr. Farzana Ferdous, Assistant Teaching Professor in Biological Sciences.
Following the discussion, students will have the opportunity to network with panelists, ask questions, and gain advice on navigating careers in science, research, and applied fields.
