Career Trek: Red Ventures

The Career Center and the First Generation Community are partnering to offer a Career Trek to Red Ventures, located in Indian Land, South Carolina (South Charlotte/Ballantyne area) on Thursday, March 5th from 10:00 am-12:00 pm (program time). This experience will provide students with an in-depth understanding of working at an organization with a diverse business portfolio operating with one shared culture and community. The agenda will feature a behind the scenes tour and an employee panel. This experience is open to all First Gen students at Charlotte. Red Ventures hires students from all academic backgrounds, but they heavily recruit for their business analyst role (business, computer science, data science).

Please note that the Career Trek commitment includes about 2 hours of program time plus the time it takes to travel to and from the employer. Students should expect to commit about 4 hours to this experience depending on traffic. Check your schedule and do not RSVP to attend if you know you can’t make the entire commitment.
