Meet Up: Shaping Futures: Internships that Support Children & Youth

Haeley Robinson, Director of Partnerships & Engagement at Time Out Youth, joins us to discuss internships within youth-serving spaces. Students interested in working with children and youth at community-based organizations will discover the types of experience they can pursue, like internships, project-based work, and volunteering. Don't know where to start? Haeley will cover her experience in the field and what it looks like to search for experience to gain industry skills.
Career Meet Ups are 30-45 minute small group sessions focused on specific topics and led by career coaches or industry professionals. Attending Career Meet Ups will also help you gain highly useful career skills that are valuable to all employers; learn more here Meet Ups may be virtual or in-person, and you will have the opportunity to gain information, ask questions, and get some practice.
