Explore Patent Law as a Career Path

If you're an engineering or computer science student who enjoys problem-solving, writing, and working with new technology, patent law is a career path worth exploring. This industry meet up is presented as part of the Fall Engineering | Manufacturing | Energy Career Community week.

Join Jon Thomas, Senior Patent Agent and Intern Program Coordinator at the global and Charlotte-based law firm Alston & Bird, for an insightful introduction into what patent agents do, how your technical background is a perfect fit, and what the path looks like…from Patent Intern to Patent Specialist to passing the USPTO Patent Bar.
