About TBMNC
Toyota Battery Manufacturing, North Carolina (TBMNC), the company’s first automotive battery plant globally, will be the hub of developing and producing lithium-ion batteries for our expanding portfolio of electrified vehicles, and so much more. When TBMNC comes online in 2025, it will begin production with 100% renewable energy and have six battery production lines: four supporting Hybrid Electric Vehicles and two supporting Battery Electric Vehicles.
