The Administrative Fellowship programs provide unique professional experiences to recent graduates of master’s degree programs in healthcare management and related disciplines. Through executive staff assignments, committee work, and participation alongside the executive team, fellows gain familiarity with the operations of a major healthcare system and will be exposed to policy formulation, resource allocation decisions, corporate planning, and complex problem solving. During the year(s), fellows will become knowledgeable of the major internal and external forces that are shaping the future of UNC Health.

UNC Health offers 4 distinct fellowship opportunities:

• UNC Health System Administrative Fellowship – Chapel Hill, NC; 1-year program


• UNC Hospitals Administrative Fellowship – Chapel Hill, NC; 2-year program


• UNC Health Rex Administrative Fellowship – Raleigh, NC; 1-year program


• UNC Physicians Network Administrative Fellowship – Morrisville, NC; 1-year program
