Git (and GitHub) are important for computer scientists, but also data scientists! In this workshop, you will learn the technology and terminology around Git. Many organizations leverage Git to help them manage their technical assets--so this workshop is recommended for anyone who may deal with code in their occupation.
Learn how Git (and GitHub) can:
- Track changes and implement version control on your data science code
- Integrate with popular data science tools and platforms (including Jupyter Notebooks)
- Help you centrally manage your data and data science work and foster collaboration in a team-based environment
- Serve as a great place to build a data science portfolio
