Cam Lytton, Graphic Designer at Luquire, Alum
Graphic designer at Luquire, a storyteller, stunt double, dillydallier, lunch packer, and kitchen dancer. Cam's ambition to design stems from living as a curious connoisseur of the world around him. He utilizes A.I. almost daily to allow for more freedom to do the fun part of his work. Cam is also a UNC Charlotte alum!
Tim Miner, Co-Founder of CLT is Creative
As Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Charlotte Is Creative, Tim Miner fuels Charlotte’s creative community by equipping emerging artists and creative entrepreneurs with the resources and connections they need to grow their businesses. By forging partnerships between artists and businesses, he strengthens a creative ecosystem where ingenuity isn’t just celebrated—it’s sustainable.
Jeff Murphy, COAA Faculty
Jeff Murphy is a Charlotte based artist working primarily with digital media. His creative career began while taking photography, film and animation courses as an Undergraduate at the Ohio State University. In fact, he took a number of courses while in school across a range of majors. In the end, it was lens-based image-making that stuck while everything else fell away.
Jeff’s work has been published in a diverse array of publications including WIRED Magazine, World Art Magazine, and the textbook Exploring Color Photography. He has received individual artist grants from the Arts and Science Council, the Ohio Arts Council and the North Carolina Arts Council. In addition to over 40 National solo exhibitions, his digital images, videos, and installations have been seen in the United States, Germany, Hungary, Spain, and Brazil.
Jeff currently is an Associate Professor of Art at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he teaches digital imaging, interactive design, photography, video, and animation.
Devanne Pena, COAA Faculty, Architect and Founder of AfroSpace
Devanne founded Archidev in 2018. Since that time the company has provided design services to a host of unique clients. Archidev projects include residential, commercial build-out, graphic design installations and concept development.
Devanne holds architectural registration in both North Carolina & Texas and has over 12 years of industry experience. She teaches the 1st & 3rd year architecture studio at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and founded AfroSpace, a communal self-care concept & incubation space located in east Charlotte.
