Come learn about the Toyota Battery Manufacturing North Carolina (TBMNC) Operations Program (TOPS)! TOPS is designed to introduce recent engineering, business analytics, operations management, and supply chain management graduates (or similar technical degree) to various areas of the TBMNC business operation throughout the two-year rotational program.
TOPS also offers opportunities for technical and soft skill development, networking, and mentorship. Specific rotation assignments are chosen based on current business needs and trainees’ educational backgrounds. Upon successful program completion, TOPS Trainees are placed into a full-time role in one of the completed rotation areas.
TOPS provides an accelerated pathway to a fulfilling career with TBMNC and TOPS Graduates form the talent pool from which future TBMNC Leaders, Managers, and Executives emerge. Lunch will be provided.
About Toyota Battery Manufacturing North Carolina
Located in Liberty, NC, Toyota Battery Manufacturing North Carolina (TBMNC) is Toyota’s first automotive battery plant globally and will be the hub of developing and producing lithium-ion batteries for our expanding portfolio of electrified vehicles, and so much more.
Production is scheduled to begin in October 2025 and TBMNC will eventually employ 5,000 North Carolinians once all 14 production lines are operational. TBMNC’s temporary offices are in Greensboro, NC.
Eligibility
- Recently completed bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in one or more of the following: Engineering (any discipline), Information Systems, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or similar technical field
- 3.0 GPA
- Co-op, internship, or previous job experience
- Must have lawful, unlimited authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Anticipated Start Dates
- Mid-January (August/December Graduates)
- Mid-June (May Graduates)
