Dr. Doug Hague is the new Executive Director for Corporate Engagement in the university’s Chancellor’s office. As the former founding Executive Director, he established the vision for the School of Data Science, as well as managed its resources and programs while serving as the representative to the UNC Charlotte community and external industry partners. Dr. Hague has more than 20 years of experience in global technology. Before joining UNC Charlotte, he served as the Chief Analytics Officer at Bank of America Merchant Services, where he implemented data governance policies and practices for internal and external entities. Prior to Bank of America Merchant Services, he held multiple roles at Bank of America, Sprint, and United Technologies.

Kaushik Chavan- Segment Leader, Generative AI & ML - Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Kaushik is an AI and digital transformation expert, currently the Segment Leader for Generative AI & ML at Amazon Web Services (AWS). He specializes in leveraging AI to innovate customer and employee experiences, driving new business models and value streams. Previously, as a Senior Advisor at AWS, he collaborated with Fortune 50 companies to enhance AI/ML and data platforms. Kaushik’s career also includes roles as Director of Analytics & Digital Transformation at Genpact, Senior Solution Architect at Teradata, and leadership positions at Revenue Solutions, Inc. He began his career with technical research at Northeastern University and holds a Master’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the same institution.
Jessica Dunn- Senior Vice President, Senior Data Scientist, Bank of America
Jessica Dunn is a senior data scientist who leads the innovation, deployment, and management of data science laboratory strategy for on-premises and cloud resources. She also leads and gains alignment for high-performance machine learning frameworks, libraries, and their integration with data science use cases with a clear strategy into compliance, governance, and path to production. She promotes collaborative research with interdisciplinary data science teams across the bank through monthly forums, Women in Data Science, and the internal annual Data Science & AI conference.
Ravi Meduri- Director, Business Systems, Compass Group
Ravi Meduri is the Director of Business Systems, SAP at Compass Group, where he has been a key leader for over 14 years. With extensive experience in SAP systems, he leads strategic transformation initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of business processes with technology. Ravi holds an MBA and an MS in Computer Science from Illinois State University and is certified as a SAFe® 6 Architect. His expertise in SAP and agile methodologies positions him as a trusted partner in IT strategy and execution.
