Bio: Alex Shenkar is responsible for validation of a diverse portfolio of models for Consumer, Insurance, Corporate and Commercial Banking including risk rating, scorecards, valuation, operational risk, and loss forecasting. Prior to joining SunTrust now Truist in 2013, Alex spent almost 11 years at Bank of America managing the following processes: Model Governance and Risk Management, Credit Risk Models Development, Decisions Engines, Change Management, Fraud, Information Security, and Data Management. His last position with Bank of America was Senior Vice President, Quantitative Compliance for Consumer and Small Business Banking. He received M.B.A. and M.S. in Applied Mathematics.
