We will discuss "a day in the Life of a data scientist" at Torqata. This will touch on what data science is in a traditional industry, the transition from academia to industry, practical machine learning, and non-algorithmic skills to excel as a data scientist. Torqata's team is made up of a diverse set of members, from PhDs in evolutionary biology to Masters in Data Science holders from UNC Charlotte. We will have several team members attend!
