Niner Diversity Panel 2024

Student Panelists, Employer Audience

Wednesday, March 27, 2024 | 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

McKnight Hall, UNC Charlotte Cone Center

"Unity in Diversity: Navigating Challenges, Celebrating Differences"

This theme encourages discussions that focus on the collective strength derived from diverse perspectives, the challenges faced by students from various backgrounds, and the celebration of differences within the student community. It provides a platform to explore ways to foster unity, understanding, and inclusivity while navigating the rich tapestry of diversity among students.

Coordinated by the University Career Center, this annual event started in Spring 2022 and focuses on UNC Charlotte's diverse student population. Students are in the spotlight as panelists and the employers are the audience! Students will give their opinions and ideas on recruitment, engagement on campus, and much more! Come support your fellow students and network with the panelists and employers after the panel discussion.

The student panel is composed of a select group of 5 students (Aleksandra Degernes, Tyler Jackson, Jade Rattler, Lily Rippner, Kierra Sunris) representing a diverse set of identities at Charlotte.

The panel will be moderated by Som Phanhthourath ‘10, mechanical engineering technology, currently working as a Lead Systems Engineer at RoviSys.

All are welcome to attend this event!
