Looking for a job is a naturally stressful process but it’s helpful consider the power you hold as a job seeker yourself. Having searched for hundreds of jobs, Hannah Strack has gathered several tips and tools that allow you to gather intel on yourself and companies, help you deal with setbacks ,and find a fit based on your specific needs and interests. Career Meet Ups are 30-45 minute small group sessions focused on specific topics and led by career coaches or industry professionals. Meet Ups may be virtual or in-person, and you’ll have the opportunity to gain information, ask questions, and get some practice. Hannah Strack is a Business Development Associate with Language and Culture Worldwide (LCW), a DEI/Intercultural consulting company. With a BA in Communication Studies and an MBA from the University of Iowa, Hannah’s background includes personal and leadership development, customer service and sales, as well as work/study/teach abroad experiences in places like Italy, Malta, and the Republic of Georgia. She’s proud to have developed new programming for employees, created informational videos and presentations, and continues to upskill in trainings around diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
