Did you know that the Career Center has three (3) specific community-based programs that provide students with paid experience opportunities? Learn about the SECU Summer Internship Program, the Community Internship Program for Federal Work Study students, and the Gig-Internship Program.

We also have the NC Conservation Network joining us to chat about the importance of these experience types and ways to stand out/what these organizations look for.

If working with a community-based organization is of interest to you, this session will help you determine which programs will get you the hands-on learning experience you need.

Attending Career Meet Ups will also help you gain highly useful career skills that are valuable to all employers. Meet Ups may be virtual or in-person, and you will have the opportunity to gain information, ask questions, and get some practice. If you need accommodations to access this Meet Up, contact Brandi Ledermann, Meet Up Program Manager, at blederma@charlotte.edu or 704-687- 0791.
