Ever wonder how Meta (formerly the Facebook company) operates at such a large scale and still manages to keep everything up and running?

Come learn about Production Engineering (PE) and see if you have what it takes to be a PE!

Production Engineers at Meta are a hybrid between software and systems engineers who are focused on the scalability and reliability of Meta’s family of apps and services. Our PE Splash Page dives into more detail about the role, the interview process, and has a link to apply to our Production Engineering University Grad position.

If this role sounds like something you might be interested in learning more about, I would love to invite you to one of our virtual learning sessions to hear more. Each small group session will be hosted by a Production Engineer and is designed to be an interactive and informal meet up to go through coding and/or systems topics, answer any questions, etc. The goal of this session is for you to better understand what PE is all about at Meta and, if you choose to interview for this role, feel more confident and prepared before starting the interview process.

What to expect:

· 1-hour informal learning session with a Production Engineer (like office hours!).

· You will be joined with a small group of students who are also interested in PE.

· Based on group interest, the discussion can go through coding and/or systems topics as well as general questions about PE and the engineer’s experience.

· Don’t be afraid to speak up and ask questions. Our engineers are here for you to help you better understand topics you might not completely understand. It’s a learning session after all :)

We’re excited to have you join our learning session and look forward to connecting!
