Your Team, Your Impact
The Optics team builds highly integrated component platforms using high-speed Silicon photonics, transmitter drivers, receiver amplifiers, controller ASICs and complex Marvell DSP’s. These components are made operational with a highly functional embedded firmware. The team is responsible for design, verification, and validation of these integrated optical components. In addition, the team performs system level testing under various operating conditions, and validates the performance of the hardware, firmware and control loops.
What You Can Expect
As our Applications Engineer Intern, and with the guidance and support of our experienced engineers, you’ll:
debug technical issues with Marvell Cloud Optics devices interoperating with network hardware,
design and execute test cases, use or create automation, process and interpret data,
create reports to deliver to various stakeholders, including internal teams, management and/or the customer.
What We're Looking For
Currently pursuing a degree in EE or related field.
Experience with Cisco/Arista/Juniper network equipment is a plus.
Experience with automation data acquisition or data processing with Python is a plus.
Previous experience with optical modules or optical test equipment is a plus. Hands-on lab experience is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Organized & driven, with a professional disposition and a good attitude will be required.
Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
25 - 49, $ per hour.
The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.

This role is eligible for our hybrid work model in which you will be able to split time between working from home and on-site in a Marvell office.
